My Ramblings About This Recipe
The reason I call this a "fast food" sauce in particular is because, as it turns out, the "special sauces" in a lot of fast food places is basically this. At least 3 different kinds of sauces, mixed together. It's really that simple, no special hard-to-find ingredients necessary!
There are also a ton of ways you can change this up. Instead of ketchup, maybe try out a barbeque sauce of your choice! Or heck, maybe try with other tomato-based sauces, or even hot sauces if you really want to. There's also plenty of different kinds of mustard, so why not honey mustard or dijon mustard? And with the mayo, maybe try replacing that with ranch dressing or even Caesar dressing. There's a lot of possibilities!!
The only thing I recommend not doing is using a sauce that's already a combination of two of the three ingredients listed here as a way to cover two sauces at once. Especially those combo sauces from Heinz (Mayochup, Kranch, etc). Those just never tasted quite right to me, so I'd say it's better to do the mixing yourself.
